ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College softball (3-3) dropped both games to Missouri Baptist University (3-1) this evening. The 8-2 and 9-0 loss sank the Pomeroys to a .500 record as they look to rebound against Concordia University Ann Arbor this weekend.

Game #05 | vs. Missouri Baptist University | L 2-8

The Pomeroys played well through the first 4 innings, allowing just one run and scoring two in the 5th off a double by Josie Lord. It wasn't until the bottom of the 5th that Missouri Baptist would score five off Rocha and she would be pulled for Baber. The Spartans would tack on two more later in the game to cap off this one 2-8.

Game #06 | vs. Missouri Baptist University | L 0-9

Missouri Baptist would continue where they left off in the previous game and score three quickly in the 1st inning. Errors and miscues throughout the game would give them Spartans a steady stream of runs as SMWC would be run-ruled in this one 0-9.
