SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College softball team (7-7) lost both games to Taylor University (12-4) this afternoon as they struggled to get the bats going. Errors have been a sore spot for the Pomeroys this season and their four through both games only made things harder and bring them to 27 on the season (1.93 per game). The team has a few days off before they go back on the road next Wednesday, March 17th against Brescia University (0-6).

Quote | Head Coach Jim Walker
On working to improve defensively...
"We have to be much better defensively. Any time you give good teams extra outs, it is hard to win. We have a couple of days of practice next week before we play again so we will keep working hard to get better."
