The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College sprint football team hits the road for Week 3 of the 2025 season, traveling to face Oakland City University on Saturday, Sept. 27. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. (CT) at Wood Memorial High School in Oakland City, Ind.

Series History & Matchup
- This is the third all-time meeting between SMWC and Oakland City.
- The Pomeroys are 2–0 all-time against the Mighty Oaks.

Week 2 Recap: SMWC 49, Quincy 27
- SMWC stormed to a 21–0 first-quarter lead with scores from Patrick Perea (3-yard run), Owen Huff (39-yard reception from Jeremiah Tosky), and Zy'Eiar White (3-yard run).
- White powered the ground attack, finishing with 57 rushing yards and 3 TDs, including runs of 16 and 17 yards.
- QB Jeremiah Tosky went 19-of-32 for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- WR Corbyn Cleveland led with 6 receptions for 97 yards and 1 TD, while Huff added 3 catches for 79 yards and a score.
- Perea chipped in with 28 rushing yards, a rushing TD, and 3 receptions.
- DB Elijah Connor sealed the victory with a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown.
