Biography
2025 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games with two starts during SMWC’s undefeated MSFL championship season. Simmons recorded 36 tackles, five interceptions for 178 return yards, three pass breakups and one blocked kick. He opened his collegiate career with 14 tackles and three interceptions for 103 yards at Midway before adding two interceptions for 75 yards, including a touchdown, in the road victory at Oakland City. Simmons also contributed extensively on special teams, returning five kickoffs for 149 yards and five punts for 153 yards, including a 70-yard punt return against Bellarmine. He earned Second Team All-MSFL honors, First Team CSFL Hub All-America recognition and a place on the CSFL Hub All-Freshman Team.
