Sprint Football To Host Quincy Saturday In Home Opener

Saturday, September 20 | 3 PM (ET) | Jay Barrett Field at West Vigo High School

The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College sprint football team returns home for its Week 2 matchup against Quincy University after opening the 2025 season with an explosive 52–36 road victory at Midway. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. (ET) at Jay Barrett Field on the campus of West Vigo High School.
 
Fans can follow the action in multiple ways: the game will be televised live on the Indiana Sports Network and carried on WNDI 95.3 FM radio with the legendary John Montgomery on the call.

2025 Season Opener Recap
  • SMWC defeated Midway 52–36 on Sept. 13 behind a career day from quarterback Jeremiah Tosky, who went 31-for-42 for 412 yards and 4 TDs, plus a rushing score.
  • Owen Huff led the receivers with six catches for 171 yards and a 56-yard touchdown.
  • Dameon Miller added nine receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown, while Corbyn Cleveland hauled in eight passes for 61 yards and a score.
  • Byran Simmons delivered the dagger with a 95-yard interception return for a touchdown, finishing the day with three interceptions and 14 solo tackles.
  • Connor Wardlaw was perfect on special teams, going 7-for-7 on PATs and hitting a 22-yard field goal.
