Box Score SMWC picked up a doubleheader sweep of Miami-Hamilton by the scores of 13-3 and 14-2.
The Pomeroys bats started early, scoring five runs in the first inning of Game 1, and were able to add on runs every inning getting 2 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th, and 3 in the fifth for the 13 runs. Summer Rocha picked up the win in game 1 pitching 4 innings and only allowing 1 run. Adyson Baber pitched the 5th inning to finish the game for the Pomeroys.
Game 2 saw the Poms' bats stay hot as the team once again scored in every inning tallying three in the first, four in second, two in the third, three in fourth and two in the 5th. Lee, Conn and Shanks continued their blistering days at the plate combining for 8 more hits and Lee adding another home run.
The offense was added in game 2 by Jaleigh Crawford's 3-hit game and Maddy Helmkamp picking up a 2B for her first career hit.
