Box Score LINCOLN, Ill. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) women's basketball team (0-9) fell in stunning fashion to Lincoln Christian University (4-9) this evening on a last second basket in overtime. The 60-63 loss gave the women's basketball program its first winless season in its 27-year history.
Sydney Ingram scored 20 points and was followed by Delaney Kendall with 19 as both had perhaps their strongest scoring game of the year.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College
- Sydney Ingram recorded 20 points for the second time this season to lead the team while adding 5 rebounds and a steal. Delaney Kendall was just behind her with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.
- Avalee Jeffers just missed out on a double-double, posting 9 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 3 blocks on the night.
- The team shot 31.3% from the field and a solid 33.3% from 3PT range. Their 66.7% shooting at the line cost them some valuable points.
- On the defensive side, SMWC turned the ball over 22 times and committed 25 fouls. Those numbers were in stark contrast to LCU who had 16 turnovers and just 14 fouls.
- SMWC was able to crash the boards well as they pulled down a staggering 53 rebounds.
Lincoln Christian University
- Lincoln Christian was led by Makayla Rosenbery with 17 points and 12 rebounds and she was followed by Mikayla Smith and Avery Seidel with 14 apiece.
- LCU shot a comparable 31.7% from the floor and 34.6% from behind the arc but their 16-20 (80%) free throw shooting may have been the difference-maker in the game.
