Say What?
"It was a bruising encounter and we have some sore players today. Overall we competed well against a team that was fast, strong, physical and technical. We used a different approach regarding our set up and considering this was our first game, we performed well within that system. It will take a while to learn these unfamiliar roles but it was an encouraging start. Every player is required to defend and they did a decent job staying focused and disciplined in that regard. Lots of room for improvement though." said head coach Craig Hendry.
By the Numbers:
SMWC sits at 0-1 overall heading into the tomorrow's contest against Brescia University.
What's Next?
The Pomeroys will battle Brescia University in their season home opener tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. EST.
