SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer team fell on Sunday to Saint Catharine, 5-0.

The Saint Catharine Patriots got on the board three times in the first half, with their first goal coming in the 17th minute. In the second half, the Patriots tallied two more goals in the 63rdand 83rd minutes.

The Pomeroys recorded 11 shots on the day, with three in the first half and eight in the second half. Seven different Pomeroys recorded a shot, while junior Amanda Loebker led the way with four.

Sophomore Georgie Macy played the first 70 minutes in goal, while freshman Shannon Sonderman played the final 20.

The Pomeroys will be back in action on October 25, when they host Illinois Tech on senior day.
