DANIELS, W.Va. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's golf team remains in third place after two rounds of the River States Conference Championships at The Resort at Glade Springs.
The Pomeroys carry a 36-hole total of 669 (328–341) into Tuesday's final round, holding steady in the team standings behind Midway University (636) and Indiana University East (641). SMWC maintains a narrow edge over Indiana University Kokomo (671) in fourth place.
Individually,
Renae Jaeger continues to pace the Pomeroys, sitting in a tie for fourth place with a two-round total of 160 (79–81). Jaeger remains within striking distance of the tournament lead heading into the final 18 holes.
Kristin Pagach is next for SMWC, currently in 18th place at 170 (79–91), while
Bailey Barker is tied for 20th with a 172 (86–86).
Macie Shirk posted a two-day total of 176 (84–92), and Brianna Andres rounded out the Pomeroy lineup with a 180 (97–83), highlighted by a strong bounce-back second round.
Midway's Kasey Cameron leads the individual field at 155 (80–75), followed by teammate Savannah Salchli at 157. Indiana University East's Peityn Gillman sits in third at 159.
The River States Conference Championships feature eight teams competing over three rounds on the par-72 layout at Glade Springs.
SMWC returns to the course for the third and final round on Tuesday, May 5, with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
