TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country team turned in a 10th-place team finish on Saturday morning at the John McNichols Invitational, hosted by Indiana State University at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
The Pomeroys tallied
287 points in the 11-team field. Miami (Ohio) and Indiana State tied for the team title with 37 points apiece, while Washington University (84) rounded out the top three.
Senior
Quinlan Teague (#822) paced SMWC with a 59th-place finish in
25:01.3. Freshman
Brooke Mace (#820) followed in 77th with a time of
26:33.9, while sophomore
Gwen Garman (#818) ran
28:29.9 for 93rd.
