TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country team turned in a strong performance Friday evening, placing sixth overall in the 6K race at the Nike XC Town Twilight, hosted at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

The Pomeroys scored 151 points, edging Central State (214) and competing closely with Greenville (101) and Rose-Hulman (89). Western Kentucky dominated the meet with 20 points, while Grace (82) and Vincennes (83) rounded out the top three.
