MARION, Ind. – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College track and field athletes Kyla Bradberry and Jerahmia Smith capped off standout seasons with strong performances at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor National Championships, held this week at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
Freshman
Kyla Bradberry earned
All-American honors with a
fourth-place finish in the women's 200-meter dash. Bradberry posted a time of
24.30 seconds in the finals, competing in a strong field that battled a +3.6 wind. Her performance marked the highest finish for a SMWC sprinter at the national level.
On the men's side, junior
Jerahmia Smith placed
11th in the men's shot put, recording a school record mark of
16.43 meters (53 feet, 10.75 inches). Smith improved with each throw, closing out his appearance with a strong third-round mark.
Both athletes contributed to a successful showing for SMWC at the national level, highlighting the program's continued development and competitive presence in NAIA track and field.
