MARION, Ind. – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College freshman sprinter Kyla Bradberry continued her stellar season by advancing to the finals of the 200-meter dash at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.
Bradberry finished second in
Heat 2 of the preliminaries on Wednesday evening with a time of
24.15 seconds, securing an automatic qualification to Friday's final. Her heat time ranked fourth overall among the nine finalists.
The top two finishers in each of the three preliminary heats, along with the next three fastest times overall, earned spots in Friday's championship race. Bradberry joins an elite field that includes top qualifier Briana Campbell of Life University (23.64) and Denai Wilson of William Carey University (23.72).

Bradberry, who entered the meet with a seed time of 23.90 seconds — the eighth-fastest in the nation — is the first sprinter in SMWC history to qualify for an NAIA sprint final.

Friday, May 23, at 4:10 p.m. ET.
