WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf team has opened the spring portion of their 2025 schedule by competing in the Kona Ice Keiser Kup, hosted by Keiser University. The event is being held at Okeeheelee GCS — a par-71, 6,813-yard layout.
For the Pomeroys,
Nolan Allen fired an opening round of 82 and is tied for 68
th place.
Nathan Fields and
Colby Beckwith each carded rounds of 85 which is tied for 74th.
Chase Nuckols round of 89 is good enough for 78
th place while
Camden Church posted an opening round of 92 and is in 80
th place.
As a team, SMWC posted a score of 341 which is in 14
th place. Host Keiser posted a round of 281 to lead the field after the opening day of play.
The Pomeroys are right back at it tomorrow for the second round of the event.
