SMWC Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Egypt Valley Championship

ADA, Mich. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf team posted a sixth-place finish at the Egypt Valley Championship, contested Oct. 6–7 at Egypt Valley Country Club and hosted by Taylor University.

The Pomeroys recorded a 54-hole total of 966 (316–336–314), highlighted by a strong closing round that trimmed 22 shots off their second-round score.

Taylor won the team title with an 892. Taylor "B" was runner-up at 932 after a tiebreaker, with Spring Arbor third, also at 932. Indiana University Kokomo placed fourth (938), and Mount Vernon Nazarene took fifth (954), with SMWC just 12 shots shy of the top five.
