TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's and women's track & field teams battled rainy conditions and top competition at the Pacesetter Invitational, hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday (March 29). 

The Pomeroys will return to action on April 4 & 5 at the Eastern Illinois Invitational in Charleston, Ill.

The women's team scored 10 points in the meet to record an 11^th place finish at the meet.

Joslyn Young recorded a time of 1:08.85 to finish 12^th in the 400 meter hurdles. Evelyn Morales time of 1:09.37 was right behind her for a 13^th place result. Quinlan Teague recorded a personal best and the best mark so far in the River States Conference this season with a time of 40:10.89 in the 10,000 meter run. It was fifth in the event as well as the seventh-fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Kyla Bradberry — the reigning River States Conference Track Athlete of the Week -- posted a time of 12.18 seconds which finished 13^th in the event and is the 15^th best time in the NAIA this year. Hope Mcguire's time of 12.53 seconds ranks as the 41st fastest time this season in the NAIA. Bradberry raced to a fourth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.66 seconds — ranking as the 9^th fastest time in the NAIA this season.  

Callee Riggle competed in the javelin throw and posted a school record mark of 26.02 meters (85-04) which was 15th. 

Gwen Garman posted a personal best with a time of 5:33.65 to finish 29^th in the 1,500 meter run.
