TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Dec. 6, 2025) – St. Mary-of-the-Woods College opened the 2025–26 indoor track and field season at the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers Invitational with the Pomeroy women posting a standout day by
winning the women's team championship with 63 points, edging the host Engineers by one.
Jaci Stone powered the Pomeroys with three top-two finishes, highlighted by breaking the facility record in the
60-meter dash (8.03). Stone also won the
long jump (4.92m) and finished runner-up in the
200 meters (27.40).
The Pomeroys swept both relays, taking the
4x200m (1:51.61) and
4x400m (4:27.93), while
TeRah Cooley won the
60-meter hurdles (9.85) followed by teammates
Evelyn Morales and
Genesis Boyd in a 1–2–4 finish.
Senior
Quinlan Teague won the mile (5:47.61),
Chloe Field captured the 800 meters (2.38.28), and
Maylee Wenzel and
Aubrey Wilson delivered a 1–2 sweep in the shot put to help secure the team crown.
