Justin Hopkins had the second biggest move up the leaderboard in the field today, climbing up 21 spots during the second round of the River States Conference Championship. Today was the second time this spring Hopkins carded a 73, tying his low round on the spring season (Round One of Alice Lloyd Invite, 3/24). Hopkins was very steady today, notching 14 pars, 1 bogey, and 2 birdies to make up for a double-bogey on the tough par-5 18th hole. Colby Beckwith added an 80, and Grant Schlue an 81 to help the Pomeroys knock 13 shots off of their day one score, posting a 317 on day two.
