The SMWC women's golf team was in action today for the first round of the RSC Championshp tournament at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia. The ladies put together a solid opening round, and sit just eight shots back of second place, and nine shots back of leader IU East. Sophie Boyll paced the Pomeroys today with a round of 80, which puts her in second place individually and just two shots back of the lead. Macie Shirk also finds herself in the top ten after firing an 83 today. The Pomeroys will be looking to make a charge up the leaderboard tomorrow, and continue their streak of solid play.
