The SMWC Women's Golf team brought home some more hardware this weekend, as they finished in second place at the Alice Lloyd Invite at Battlefield Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky this weekend. The runner-up finish is one of three thus far in the 2023-2024 season, to go along with three first place finishes in nine events. SMWC was also the top finishing NAIA program in the tournament. Leading the way for the ladies was
Brooklee Bussing, who fired rounds of 80 and 85 to finish in a tie for fourth place individually.
Sophie Boyll and
Macie Shirk also collected top ten finishes, with two-day totals of 167 and 170, respectively.
