LOGAN, OHIO - Savannah Lewis had three previous All-River States Conference performances, but none were a conference championship - until now.
Lewis led the SMWC track and field teams with a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash Saturday with a time of 7.93 seconds at the River States Conference Indoor Championships.
The SMWC women placed 7th out of 11 teams with 53 points. The men placed 8th out of 11 with 35 points.
Lewis ran a time of 7.93 seconds to race to the victory at the Chieftain Center. Lewis, fourth in the event as a freshman and third as a sophomore, took her first RSC title in the event.
Krislynn Bailey, a qualifier for the NAIA Championships with her 3.47 meter vault that hit the "B" standard, earned All-Conference with a runner-up finish with a height of 3.37 meters. Bailey was second to Midway's Nevaeh Brown, who ranks fifth in the nation.
Evelyn Morales took an All-Conference finish in the 60-meter hurdles, placing third in a time of 10.06 seconds. Morales also scored in the triple jump with a seventh-place finish.
On the men's side, the SMWC 1,600 relay team of Jazaiah Douglas, Jaryn Patterson, Alec Smith and Xavier Rate placed runner-up with a time of 3:33.04.
Javian Edwards took third in triple jump with a leap of 13.92 meters and just missed All-RSC honors in long jump with a fourth-place finish.
Sophomore Jaci Stone had a strong meet, placing fourth in the 60 meters with a personal-best time of 8.05 seconds, adding a sixth-place finish in long jump.
In men's pole vault, the Pomeroys had two athletes score as freshman Matthew Hayden placed sixth and Jaryn Patterson tied for eighth.
Quinlan Teague ran a PR in the 3,000 with a sixth-place time of 11:24.17.
Paige Chickadaunce ran a PR in the 600 with a time of 1:49.60.
Ahmad Benford matched his PR in the men's 60-meter dash to place seventh in 7.13 seconds.
Douglas ran a PR in the 200 with a time of 23.51 to take sixth, adding a 7th-place finish in the 400.
Point Park won both team championships, with the women setting a scoring record with 240.5 points.
