RIO GRANDE, Ohio – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams competed at the River States Conference (RSC) Championships this past weekend. The Men's team would finish in 9th place overall with 29.50 points while the women earned runner-up with 144 points, behind Point Park University (194). Both teams had stellar finishes with multiple awards earned throughout the event. The top 3 finishers in each event would be named All-Conference as the Pomeroys earned the award in multiple categories.
Tyresha Clark led the teams with a 1st place finish in shot put with a 12.25m throw while also earning 3rd in the Discus. She would be joined by
Emily Truax,
Kayla Coryea, and
Hope McGuire as multiple top-3 finishers. Full Results can be found

Each team had one member nominated by their head coach for the RSC Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Champions of Character Teams. Nominees were awarded for respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.
