Thirty SMWC Student-Athletes Earn NAIA Fall Scholar-Athlete Honors

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is proud to announce that 30 Pomeroy student-athletes have been recognized as 2025 NAIA Fall Scholar-Athletes, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) revealed this week.

The distinction is one of the association's top academic honors and recognizes student-athletes across football, cross country, soccer and volleyball who have excelled in the classroom while competing at a national level. To qualify, honorees must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and complete at least one full year at their institution.

SMWC's honorees represent men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer and women's volleyball:
