JANESVILLE, Wisc. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf team started the 2019 season off at the Culver's Edgewood College Fall Invitational. The Woods played on the Glen Erin Golf Course; a notoriously difficult playing surface. Despite the odds, SMWC is tied for second as a team with a 302 (+18). Battling as the Top 5 for the Pomeroys were Colton Kuppler, Nathan Higbie, Benjamin Myers, Justin Wilson, and Jaret Morlan.
Individually, Colton Kuppler is tied for second with a 72 (+1). The leader is just five strokes ahead of Kuppler, with a strong day two, he may be able to pass up Will Hocker from Webster. Nathan Higbie is tied for sixth place with a 73 (+3). At this point in the invitational, the Top 17 player's each have a shot to take first place!
