SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. — Due to the ongoing winter storm and dangerously frigid temperatures across the region, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has announced schedule changes to its upcoming men's and women's basketball games against Brescia (Ky.).

Both contests, originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, have been moved to Thursday, January 29.

The SMWC men's basketball team will now host Brescia at 6 p.m. (ET) inside the Jeanne Knoerle Sports and Recreation Center in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind.

Meanwhile, the SMWC women's basketball team will travel to Owensboro, Ky., for its matchup against Brescia, also set for 6 p.m. (CT).

The adjustments were made to prioritize the safety of student-athletes, staff, officials, and fans amid hazardous travel conditions and extreme cold.
