Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's volleyball team opened the 2026 season in dominant fashion, earning 3–0 victories over Truett-McConnell and Bluefield (Va.) on Friday.

SMWC controlled the match against Bluefield from start to finish, posting straight-set wins of 25–18, 25–14, and 25–18. The Pomeroys showcased balanced offense and consistent defensive pressure, keeping Bluefield out of rhythm throughout the contest.

Earlier in the day, SMWC also secured a 3–0 sweep of Truett-McConnell to complete a perfect opening day and move to 2–0 on the young season.

The Pomeroys will look to continue their strong start when they return to action at Greenville (Ill.) on Tuesday, January 27. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT).
