SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's cross country team earned a ninth-place team finish at the Franklin College Invitational on Saturday morning at Blue River Memorial Park.
The Pomeroys totaled 262 points in the standings, edging Anderson (289) and finishing just behind Earlham (250). Centre College claimed the team title with 46 points, followed by Manchester (55) and Illinois Cross Country Club (57).
SMWC Performances
Freshman
Nathan Odle led SMWC across the line, placing 53rd overall in a time of 17:24.99 to score 41 points. Fellow freshman
Rudy Bowman followed close behind in 61st place with a mark of 17:41.09 (+45).
