GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College finished 24th in the men's team standings at the Great Lakes Invitational on Saturday at Riverside Park, paced by freshman
Rudy Bowman's 27:47.8 over the 8K "White" race.
Bowman was SMWC's first finisher, followed by
Nathan Odle (28:24.2),
Jayden Hickenbotham (28:30.6),
Elijah Williams (29:54.5) and Ethan Dehamer (30:44.0) to complete the scoring five. The Pomeroys totaled 640 points in a 29-team field.
Indiana Wesleyan captured the team title with 94 points, while Campbellsville's Martin Batel won the individual crown in 25:26.4.

The SMWC men's cross country will compete at the River States Conference Championship on Saturday, November 8 in Rio Grande, Ohio to wrap up the fall campaign.
