ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf team wrapped up play at the NAIA Midwest Invitational on Tuesday at TPC Deere Run, finishing 19th in a competitive 21-team field.

The Pomeroys carded team rounds of 329 and 327 for a two-day total of 656 strokes.

Individually, John Amt led SMWC with rounds of 77 and 76, placing inside the top 30 of the 105-player field. Tomas Carvajal turned in rounds of 80 and 78 for a 158 total,
followed by Nolan Mishler (87–90, 177), Nolan Allen (94–86, 180), and Matt Pearison (87–93, 180).

Marian University (Ind.) earned the team championship with a two-round total of 594, followed closely by Hastings (598) and Northwestern (Iowa) (601).

The Pomeroys will return to action at the River States Conference Fall Preview, scheduled for Sept. 28–30 in Daniels, W.V.
