TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's cross country team continued its 2025 campaign Saturday morning at the John McNichols Invitational, hosted by Indiana State University at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in eastern Vigo County.
The Pomeroys placed 12th in the 13-team field with 344 points. Miami (Ohio) won the meet with 41 points, followed by Washington University (70) and Indiana State (88).
Freshman
Nathan Odle (#829) led SMWC, placing 111th in
29:15.51 for 56 team points. Freshman
Jayden Hickenbotham (#828) finished 128th in
30:23.25 (63). Additional scorers were

31:06.10 (71);
Jim Frye (#827), 151st in
31:43.79 (76);
Elijah Williams (#830), 155th in
32:03.99 (78); and
