SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.V. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College softball team was well represented on the 2025 All-River States Conference (RSC) teams, as announced Thursday evening by the league office. Freshman standout Jaidyn Fuller led the way for the Pomeroys with First Team All-RSC honors, while seven other student-athletes also earned postseason recognition for their outstanding contributions during the season.
Fuller, named to the First Team as an at-large selection, made an immediate impact in her debut season. The freshman
infielder hit
.368 with
42 hits,
eight doubles,
two triples, and
two home runs, totaling
19 RBIs and a
.526 slugging percentage. She also swiped
10 bases in 12 attempts and maintained a
.411 on-base percentage across 43 games played.
Joining Fuller on the list of honorees were:
- Mikayla Mills – Second Team All-RSC Catcher
Mills started 18 games behind the plate and hit .351, driving in four runs with 13 hits and a .375 on-base percentage.
- Jaleigh Crawford – Second Team All-RSC Infielder
Crawford hit .344 across 33 games, tallying 31 hits, five doubles, four home runs, and 16 RBIs, while going a perfect 10-for-10 in stolen bases.
- Hannah Boardman – Third Team All-RSC Infielder
Boardman had a strong all-around season, batting .326 with 30 hits, six home runs, and a team-high 29 RBIs. She posted a .554 slugging percentage.
- Kyar McVey – Third Team All-RSC Outfielder
McVey brought speed and consistency to the lineup, hitting .323 with 21 runs scored and an impressive 21 stolen bases in 22 attempts.
- Alyse Rollings – Third Team All-RSC Outfielder
Rollings hit .324 with 24 hits, five RBIs, and a .405 on-base percentage in 26 appearances.
- Abbi Henderson – Third Team All-RSC Outfielder
Henderson added pop and productivity to the lineup with five RBIs, 24 hits, and a .324 average over 26 games.
- Emily Singleton – Third Team All-RSC Utility Player
Singleton's versatility and contributions across multiple roles earned her a spot on the Third Team. She finished the season with a .262 batting average, 22 hits, six RBIs, and a .286 slugging percentage in 29 games. She also contributed three stolen bases and a .295 on-base percentage.
In total, the Pomeroys had
eight players recognized across all three teams, showcasing the depth, balance, and competitiveness of the roster this season.
The RSC honors are voted on by the league's head coaches and include First, Second, and Third Teams, along with additional at-large selections based on overall performance throughout the regular season.
The Pomeroys will return to action on
Friday, May 2, in an elimination game on
Day 2 of the River States Conference Tournament, taking on either
Shawnee State or Rio Grande at
2 p.m. ET.
