TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's cross country team turned in a competitive showing Friday night under the lights at the prestigious Nike XC Town Twilight, hosted at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

SMWC placed sixth overall in a field highlighted by NCAA Division I, Division III, and NAIA opponents. The Pomeroys tallied 150 points, narrowly trailing Greenville (138) and Vincennes (130), while edging out IU Columbus (177) and Central State (191).

Western Kentucky captured the team title with a dominant 25-point effort, while Rose-Hulman finished runner-up with 47 points. Grace College (127) rounded out the top three.
