SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's volleyball hits the road to face No. 13 ranked Cornerstone in a pair of Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference matches.
SMWC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL NOTES:
* SMWC enters the weekend 7-2 overall and 2-0 in WHAC play, to face No. 13 ranked Cornerstone which stands 7-0 and 3-0 in WHAC play.
* SMWC has already more than double last season's win total of three and picked up the first two WHAC victories in school history over Goshen last weekend.

Brycen Yadao was named WHAC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts during the Pomeroys 2-1 week that was highlighted with wins over Kentucky State and Midway. Yadao has a team-high 77 digs (3.21 per set).

Marko Zolnjan (94) and
Bentley Meyer (73) lead the Pomeroys in kills entering this weekend's action.

Connor Orrock (121),
Ethan Martins (100) and
Jacob Wisniewski (100) each have more than 100 assists.
* Zolnjan also leads the team with 20 service aces.

Yammiel Martinez has a team-high 20 blocks for the Pomeroys.
* After this weekend, SMWC returns to action with doubleheaders at Talladega on Monday (Feb. 26) and Morehouse on Tuesday (Feb. 27).
