Box Score SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – On a day with scorching temperatures, The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's soccer team (5-0) stayed cool and continued their undefeated season against MacMurray College (1-2), winning 2-0. Both Pomeroy goals were scored by recently named USCAA Player of the Week Omar Abdallah Nabilsi with one assist from Yazen Bakhrebah.
The Highlights
- SMWC started taking consistent shots at around the 34th minute until Omar Abdallah Nabili netted the first goal of the game at 38:25.
- Shots came quickly to start the 2nd period for each team, but both goalies made nice saves
- MacMurray kept up their offensive attack but were unable to score past the brick wall that Keeper Keaton Krischak put up.
- Omar Abdallah Nabilsi (assist Yazen Bakhrebah) put the game away with an 86th minute goal.
