LANSING, Mich. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) men's soccer team put their undefeated season on the line as they traveled to Lansing, Michigan to play Great Lakes Christian College and came away unscathed with a 9-0 victory. The scoring came early and often as the men's team have now outscored their opponents 19-1 in their first four games.

How was the trip up to Michigan and how does this game prepare you as you look to future matches ?

"It was a long trip but it was totally worth it. Because of the schedule this week, we had to make sure some players got rest and give an opportunity for other to have more playing time. We are ready for MacMurray this Thursday and I am sure it's going to be a good game."

What's Next?

The men's team is back home when they host MacMurray College on Thursday, September 12^th at 3:00 P.M. ET. Women's soccer will also be playing MacMurray following the conclusion of the men's contest.
