Pomeroys Fall At Harris-Stowe

ST. LOUIS — Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer fell 4-0 to Harris-Stowe State University on Sunday afternoon at Hornets Field.

Harris-Stowe (3-4-1) scored twice during each half, taking an early lead in the 11th minute before doubling its advantage at the 16:56 mark.

Jordan Fearing generated both shots for SMWC (2-7), including an attempt that struck the post in the 68th minute. Goalkeeper Cileen Saif finished with five saves for the Pomeroys.

SMWC returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 30, when it visits Anderson University for a match rescheduled from Sept. 16. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. in Anderson, Indiana.
