FULTON, Mo. — Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer fell 4-0 to William Woods University on Saturday afternoon at the North Campus Athletic Complex.
William Woods (3-1) scored twice during the opening 15 minutes and carried a 2-0 advantage into halftime. The Owls added goals shortly after the second-half kickoff and in the 88th minute to complete the scoring.
SMWC (0-4) finished with seven shots, placing four on goal. The Pomeroys generated five corner kicks, including four during the second half, while the SMWC goalkeeper recorded nine saves.
William Woods totaled 24 shots, including 13 on goal, and held a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
