CULVER, Ind. – The SMWC Equestrian team delivered a strong overall performance at the Purdue Hunt Seat Show 2026, highlighted by multiple individual class wins and a High Point Team finish in Show 2.
Across three shows, the Pomeroys earned top finishes in Open, Intermediate, Limit, Novice and Pre-Novice divisions, showcasing depth throughout the lineup.
Show 1 Highlights
Jaden Perry claimed first place in both Open Fences and Open Flat to headline the day.
Halle Minton added a second-place finish in Intermediate Fences and third in Intermediate Flat, while
Annabelle Luckcuck secured second in Intermediate Flat. Liz Uhl captured first in Limit Flat and second in Limit Fences. Additional top-six finishes came from
Courtney Hamrick,
Savanna Amschl,
Carmen Creech, Alex Davis and
Marissa Burnett.
Show 2 Highlights
Perry continued her strong showing with a first-place finish in Open Fences and second in Open Flat.
Annabelle Luckcuck placed second in Intermediate Fences, while
Savanna Amschl earned second in Intermediate Flat.
Courtney Hamrick (third, Limit Fences), Liz Uhl (fourth, Limit Fences) and
Amelia Denault (fifth, Limit Fences) added key points.
In the flat divisions, Abbigail Coyle placed second in Limit Flat,
Amelia Denault finished third in Limit Flat, Claire Coryell earned second in Pre-Novice and
Addison Simmons and
Avery Mayes added top-six finishes in Novice and Pre-Novice, respectively.
Show 3 Highlights
The Pomeroys closed the weekend with continued momentum. Perry placed second in Open Fences and second in Open Flat.
Carmen Creech earned first in Intermediate Flat and fifth in Limit Fences, while
Annabelle Luckcuck added a fourth-place finish in Intermediate Fences and second in Intermediate Flat.
Savanna Amschl (third, Intermediate Flat) and
Courtney Hamrick (fifth, Intermediate Flat) contributed valuable points.
Amelia Denault posted fourth in Limit Fences and fifth in Limit Flat, Abbigail Coyle placed fourth in Limit Flat, Alex Davis finished third in Novice,
Addison Simmons earned fourth in Novice and
Avery Mayes secured third in Pre-Novice.
SMWC's consistency across divisions resulted in the team being named
High Point Team in Show 2, further strengthening its regional standing.
