UPLAND, Ind. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College equestrian team delivered a standout weekend at the Taylor Western Show 2026, earning High-Point Team honors on Sunday while
Carmen Creech was named High-Point Rider after a series of top finishes across multiple classes.
Saturday Results
The Pomeroys opened the weekend with strong performances in several divisions.
In Reining, Claire Coryell secured second place while Bella Monnett added a fourth-place finish.
Carmen Creech placed third in Ranch Riding and followed with a third-place finish in Level 2 Horsemanship (HMS).
Clair Schoettmer earned second in Open Horsemanship, and
Courtney Hamrick captured first place in Level 2 Horsemanship.
Kinsey Hall added a fourth-place finish in the same division.
In Level 1 Horsemanship,
Trinity Hudnall finished fourth and Bella Parker placed fifth.
Allie Shaughnessy claimed second in Rookie B, while
Payton Ross placed fifth in Rookie A.
The Beginner division saw
Ashley Haraway lead the way with a first-place finish.
Marissa Burnett followed with second place, and Xander Howells rounded out the class with a sixth-place result.

Bella Parker improved to second in Level 1 Horsemanship, and
Trinity Hudnall added a fourth-place finish.
Jessica Andres placed fourth in Rookie B, while
Payton Ross finished fourth in Rookie A. Xander Howells earned fifth in Beginner.
In Reining, Bella Monnett secured second place and Claire Coryell placed fifth. Creech highlighted the day with a first-place finish in Ranch Riding and a second-place ride in Level 2 Horsemanship.
Clair Schoettmer placed fourth in Ranch Riding and added second in Open Horsemanship, while Monnett earned third in Open Horsemanship.
Courtney Hamrick claimed another first-place finish in Level 2 Horsemanship, and
Kinsey Hall added a third-place result in the same class.
Creech's consistent high finishes throughout the weekend earned her High-Point Rider recognition, while the Pomeroys capped the event by claiming High-Point Team honors on Sunday.
