ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Hunt Seat equestrian team turned in a strong performance at the Indiana University Hunt Seat Show this past weekend, highlighted by a Reserve High Point Team finish on Saturday and the special recognition of SMWC's own
Max as the Horse of the Show.
Across two days of competition, the Pomeroys secured numerous top-five finishes in a wide range of divisions. Standouts included:

- Savanna Amschl won the Limit Flat class, while Claire Coryell captured first in Pre-Novice.
- Halle Minton finished second in Intermediate Fences, and Ashley Jones added a runner-up ride in Pre-Novice.
- Liz Uhl claimed the blue ribbon in Limit Fences.

The collective effort led the Pomeroys to secure Reserve High Point Team honors, capping off a weekend that also saw
Max—one of SMWC's cornerstone horses—recognized as
Horse of the Show.

Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, competing in a Western Show at the Henry County Fairgrounds in New Castle, Ind., hosted by Purdue University.
