GRAYSON, Ky. – Three different players found the back of the net in a two-minute span as Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's soccer earned a 3–0 River States Conference road victory at Kentucky Christian on Saturday afternoon.
The Pomeroys (1-9-1, 1-3-0 RSC) dominated possession and chances throughout the contest, outshooting the Knights 17–2 and holding an 11–1 advantage in corner kicks.
After 74 scoreless minutes, SMWC erupted:
- 74:56 – Cyd'Nei Strader broke the deadlock with her first career goal.
- 75:55 – Eerika Erjansalo, who started the match in goal before moving into the attack, scored her first goal of the season to make it 2–0.
- 76:44 – Mackenzie Herring capped the burst with her first collegiate tally, stretching the lead to 3–0.
The defense remained steady, limiting Kentucky Christian (0-10-0, 0-6-0 RSC) without a single shot on goal. Goalkeepers
