The grind continues for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods men's volleyball.
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference schedule continued with pair of losses Friday and Saturday to Lawrence Tech.
On Friday, the Pomeroys struggled in the first two sets before putting together a solid third set, falling 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 26-24).
Julian Green led the way with seven kills, while Andrej Lindner and Mark Zmojdzin added six and five respectively.
Connor Orrock had a team-high 18 assists. Yammiel Martinez led the team with two blocks, and Zmojdzin led the Pomeroys with seven digs.
On Saturday, Julian Green again led the way with nine kills and was joined by Christian Green's season-high nine kills. The Pomeroys fell 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21).
Connor Orrock posted career-highs of 25 assists and 10 digs. Yammiel Martinez  had four blocks and Julian Green three blocks.
Jalen Noveda had three service aces, also a career-high.
"Very proud of the energy and effort this weekend," coach Ian Harris said. "We played very well vs. a Top25-level team. Our guys didn't quit, they never gave up. We are getting better each week, it just doesn't show in the record because we are playing Top 25 teams and All-Americans every week, but I lvoe the progress this team is making."
