Biography
2025 (Senior): Appeared in all eight games with three starts during SMWC’s undefeated MSFL championship season. Young recorded 40 tackles, including 27 solo stops, with three tackles for loss, one interception, three pass breakups and one forced fumble. He posted a season-high seven tackles against both Midway and Bellarmine, intercepted a pass in the victory over Quincy and forced a fumble against Midway. Young also recorded four tackles and one-half tackle for loss in the MSFL championship win over Calumet. He earned Second Team All-MSFL honors.
2024 (Junior): Appeared in six games and totaled seven tackles with one blocked kick. Young also handled 15 kickoffs for 737 yards, averaging 49.1 yards per attempt, with one touchback.
