Biography
2025 (Sophomore): Appeared in seven games with two starts during SMWC’s undefeated MSFL championship season. Metzger recorded 28 tackles, including seven solo stops, along with seven tackles for loss, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one quarterback hurry. He opened the season with five tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks at Midway, then posted a season-high eight tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and another sack in the home victory over Midway. Metzger added five tackles and two tackles for loss in the MSFL semifinal win over Bellarmine. He earned Second Team All-MSFL honors and was named a Third Team CSFL Hub All-American.
2024 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games with two starts during his first collegiate season. Metzger totaled 25 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
