The Pomeroys improved to 17-1 overall and 2-0 in league play with the win. The streak surpasses the previous program-best 16 straight victories.

Masa Pešic added seven kills on a .385 clip, and Evelyn Morales was nearly flawless with five kills on seven swings (.714). Setter Aden Britt directed the attack with 20 assists and chipped in two kills of her own.

Defensively, Selena Sosa and Leishmarie Virella each collected 11 digs to anchor the back row. The Pomeroys held Brescia (5-7, 0-1 RSC) to just a .050 hitting percentage, out-digging the Bearcats 55-37. SMWC also led in kills (43-22), aces (8-2), and blocks (4-2).
