SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) men's volleyball team capped its regular season with a 3-0 sweep over Midway (Ky.) on Saturday (April 12) at the Knoerle Center, clinching a berth in the upcoming River States Conference Tournament. The Pomeroys (25-9, 8-8 RSC) won by scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 28-26.

After cruising through the first two sets, SMWC was pushed to the limit in a back-and-forth third set that saw 12 ties and five lead changes. Midway (4-19, 1-15 RSC) led 19-18 late before the Pomeroys regained control with key plays from veterans and newcomers alike.
