Game 2: Oakland City 8, SMWC 0 (5 innings)
The nightcap belonged entirely to the Mighty Oaks, who completed the sweep with a five-inning shutout. Oakland City scored in four consecutive innings, highlighted by a three-run home run from M. Shipley in the third and a solo shot by K. Heichelbe later in the same frame.
Shipley not only powered the offense but also earned the win in the circle, tossing a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks. SMWC managed just two baserunners, both on walks, and committed four errors defensively.
