SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. — Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College graduate student
Evelyn Morales has been named to the
College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing her excellence in both academics and athletics.
A
5-foot-10 middle hitter, Morales is pursuing a
Master of Leadership Development and is a native of
Crofton, Ky., where she attended
University Heights Academy. She appeared in
26 matches during the 2025 season, recording
73 kills on
.289 hitting, while adding
24 total blocks and 32 digs.
Morales delivered several efficient offensive performances throughout the season, including a
.800 hitting percentage against Huston-Tillotson, a
.750 mark versus Brescia and a season-high
eight kills against Midway. She also posted a season-best
five block assists in matches against Shawnee State and Rio Grande.
The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement while competing at a high level athletically. Honorees advance for consideration for the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Morales continues Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College's tradition of producing well-rounded student-athletes who excel in the classroom and on the court.
