SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's volleyball team has secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming River States Conference Tournament following a standout 29-5 regular season and second-place finish in the league standings.
The Pomeroys will open postseason play on Tuesday, November 11 at 7 p.m. (ET) when they host Shawnee State (Ohio) inside the Knoerle Center. The winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal matchup will advance to the semifinals to face either IU-Columbus or Rio Grande on Friday, November 14 at 4:30 or 7:00 p.m. (ET).
SMWC enters the tournament with one of the top records in the NAIA, highlighted by a balanced attack, consistent defense, and a dominant 12-4 mark in RSC play.
Fans are encouraged to pack the Knoerle Center on Tuesday night as the Pomeroys look to continue their historic season and make a deep postseason run.
